Preface

As we approach the task of finding the new Pastor the Lord is preparing for us at Woodlawn Baptist, our Area Minister provided us with guidelines to help us in this process. Through this process we were able to not only produce this booklet of information for prospective candidates interested in Woodlawn Baptist as a home, but we were also able to take a reflective look at the needs of our congregation. The surveys we had members complete were helpful in development of this book you are now reading, but that information also opened our eyes to the needs of the congregation. Some of those needs have already been accomplished.

Other information provided in this handbook are church demographics, area demographics,  a history summary,  our 2006 budget, and the accomplishments of 2005.
